“...some of my source files are v large yet I use only a small section, thus an unnecessary burden on storage -give me a means to clip down a source file within Vegas to save storage.”

That functionality is available now with an Vegas extension called Happy Otter Scripts Smart Video Trim.

Also with Vegasaur's Smart Trim option.

In the Smart Trim of the new version of Vegasaur you can directly import the event cut to the timeline on a new track or as a Take. It's super fast and super efficient. Vegasaur looks better with each version.

Do us a favour and don't copy/paste your previous posts, just add what you want to say . Makes less work for us readers. :)

1) You will get better media management by using a DAM such as Adobe Bridge (it's FREE and I use it with Vegas all the time).

2) Vegasaur does SO MUCH for SO LITTLE that it is a "no brainer" to buy it.

-do not change the main screen user interface/layout/icons, I loved V10, changes for changes sake are so annoying to customers, if I'm representative if the user base -we don't want these changes, stop, your not adding value!

Keep in mind that this is not a corporate forum, but here users answer questions for free and in their free time.
If you continue this way, you may not get answers anymore.
But of course - that's all your decision......
