Hello. so im trying to import some .WAV audio files but whenever i do the audio file gets stretched to like 23 hours on the time-line and the audio doesnt play. it plays only if i put the playbar at the beginign but that doesnt help.It only does this with WAV files. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you!
Vegas Pro is up to version 22 with multiple updates. Which version are you up to?

What's with the conformance error?
Happy to test such a file here if you can upload it somewhere. I don't think I've ever used a 24khz wav and haven't noticed issues with standard 44.1 and 48khz PCM wav files.
Hi @Eddynell, try setting Vegas project audio sample rate proprieties to 11,025 Hz.
I don't think I've ever used (or encountered) a 24khz <.wav> file either. The nyquist frequency would be just around 12kHz which may be ok for some spoken word dialog, but that's about it.
For a quick test, I rendered a 11.025 Hz mono PCM (.wav) file in Sound Forge. Display and playback was normal in Vegas 16, 21 and 22, despite different audio properties settings.
By all means, post the file on Google Drive, Dropbox or other cloud drive, so we may check it out.
