Importing crashes Vegas 17

Dear vegas users,

i've had alot problems importing my GoPro files into my vegas pro 17. I have just installed the new drivers so my graphic card is ok.

the specs of my laptop: i7 Core + 32GB Ram + NVIDIA GeForce GTX.

i have alot of footage in the video now, for like 5 minutes. and i still have to put like 5 minutes more into the video. when i'm uploading some new clips into it (HEVC format clips) then it automaticly crashes. I think that there are some options or preferences i have to change.

I hope that someone can help me out, i really want to finish my holiday video.

Start by giving more information about your media with instructions in this link.and/or upload a short sample to a file share site, dropbox, google drive, etc.

You might read this about GoPro media to see if there's a match.
