impossible to open mp4 file (message, access impossible)...

hello, since this morning I have a big problem at the studio, on the studio machine I can read mp4 videos (via windows 11) without problems, but.... if I open the mp4 file via vegas pro 21. . it tells me it is impossible to open the file, file not found or access prohibited????
I don't understand the problem, which of course.... is urgent
PS: the mp4 files all come from hyperdeck hd mini players

I specify... impossible to open an mp4 coming from a hyperdeck :(!! other mp4 files no problem

Could you share the details on what's in the MP4 file? I haven't used a hyperdeck. Mediainfo can help with this: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-to-post-mediainfo-and-vegas-pro-file-properties--104561/

Happy to test a sample if you could upload one to Google Drive or somewhere.

VEGAS plays many formats but not all.

If the same files did work earlier you can try to do a total reset

Glad it works now, not sure what happened.

(Quicktime doesn't ever decode AVC in VEGAS from what I have seen.)
