Don't think that is possible at the moment I am afraid. However seconded. I also would like to be able to automate video FX parameters directly in the sequencer... like in a DAW ;) Of course that does not make that much sense for event FX... but for Track FX, I'd say having an actual line editor there would help a lot.

It could be displayed as sub-tracks, like the current key frame style visualization- just with automation lanes per animated parameter instead. A line editor makes "easing" so much easier, if you excuse the pun. Would also minimize the risk of creating a cluster-eff when using Bezier curves and moving/shortening events ;)

I am not aware of a setting to change the envelope point size You can change the overall color of the envelope types though.
You could increase the PC's display DPI %, but that would enlarge everything on the PC)

Of course, in many cases, when you have many tracks and different volume points or effects, it is very confusing to select a specific point.

In other types of software, for example in 3D to edit Mayans, this option is contemplated.

@mamomo I saw an option in internal preferences that turns on highlighting of the envelope line and points. Whether it helps or not is up to each individual.

Hold down the shift key while clicking on the Options menu, the select "Internal" at bottom of the menu. Search for "envelope" so only preferences with "envelope" appear. There's a preference for turning on highlighting. Change from FALSE to TRUE. Click OK. The highlighting won't appear right away. You need to start dragging a point, which should turn on the highlighting.

The truth is that this solution is interesting, but it is not what I am looking for, since the problem is when there are many points and you want to select one, it is difficult to differentiate them, especially if you work with a large screen...

While it may not be the answer that you are seeking, there is another approach that might help to some degree ... and that is to change the color of the envelope to make the envelope more prominent against the track color (which itself is selectable in the track header). Individual envelope colors for different envelopes can be chosen in Options/Preferences/Display (tab):
