I will say it seems most ineffective when the selected outline and/or shadow color is black

Darker colors, particularly in the blue spectrum "disappear" when using it as a primary text color too.The colors are not represented on the screen as they would be demonstrated as the selected text color, they are "dilute" to absent versions.

I downloaded the newest version of Vegas Pro 11 and now I find the outline and shadow options for simple legacy text generators don't seem to be working properly. Any suggestions?

The newest Version of Vegas Pro is 18.
