Lightworks Software use node too?

Lightworks came out the same era with Avid, but Avid is more popular. Their software now use Node base on compositing part. Node is just superior as you can create more complex, non destructive FX. Seems doable for VEGAS Pro too.

Do I understand correctly that I can do the same with Vegas Pro, but with the node system from Lightworks far more clearly arranged and organised?

VEGAS Pro use linearize FX chain, while software like Lightworks use Node system for its OFX which unlock more advanced possibilities.

I genuinely believe that the same node concept is possible in VEGAS Pro. But we will need bigger VEGAS Team in order to execute such ambitious functions.
