I've encountered a lot of crashes since the update, the renders hang, my vegasaur plug-in crashes at the end of the renders, and vegas also crashes during editing I want to cry, it was a blessing to not have any bugs for a few months and the update that does that is complicated.......

It looks like you have VEGAS Pro Flow and some Fx as well as media. If you don't use Fx does it still crash on render?
The video engine is being reworked so it's very possible you are finding flaws with it.
Can you share what Fx you are using (esp. where the render crashes)?

Identikal problem. So FRUSTRATED!
This new update has been nothing but problem after problem!

If the new update isn't working I'd go back to 208 and wait for a bugfix patch.

Just did that & it .208 doesn't support all the work I've been doing on the latest version.
This is beyond frustrating.
I have held off switching to other programs as I don't want to lelear everything all over again, but I think the time may finally have arrived.................Very dissapointed.
If you have an older version like 20 installed you can open both and copy and paste the timeline from 300 to 20.411 then open it in 21.208.
Otherwise a patch is coming...
