Markers in Trimmer Disappearing

I am clicking the SAVE MAKERS button below the trimmer window each time I add a marker. However every time I close the app and reopen the project, the markers are gone.

Is there a way to re-upload the markers from a temp file somewhere?

Are they gone from the Trimmer?

Can you see them if you add the file to the timeline of a new Vegas Pro project?
