Hi all,
I'd really appreciate any help I can get with this error I've been getting whenever I try to open an .mp4 recording I'd captured using OBS v30.1.2. It's happened with previous versions of OBS too, and I have no idea why. I'm using VEGAS Pro 21.0 to try and edit the footage so I can share it with friends, but I'm consistently running into the same issue. When I try to open the file, one of two things happens:
- It'll either bring up an error message with error code 0x85008110 "message missing", or
- It'll try to open the file, never display any of the captured footage once it opens and then crash when I try to do anything with it
I've tried looking at other resources regarding the issue, but nothing is working. Shortening the file name doesn't work, trying to open a capture that's shorter in length than the one I want doesn't work, nothing I've tried has worked. I read somewhere that installing MediaInfo has helped some, but I don't know what any of the stuff I'm looking at means. Maybe it's got something to do with the refresh rate of my monitor? I don't know... Please help! 🙁
