mov files flip upside when Reverse effect applied, mp4 works OK

I downloaded some .mov files from the Hub. After I applied a reverse effect it flipped the video upside down instead. I downloaded a .mp4 file and added the Reverse and it worked as expected. Is this a known issue, I searched and could not find it.

Just tried reversing a mov clip that one of my cameras shoots and it didn't turn it upside down. Maybe the mov clip you downloaded already has rotation set in the media info... some cell phones do that when they shoot landscape. You can correct it in Vegas clip properties with a rotation adjustment.

Strange as I checked the clip properties and it said Media Rotation - 0 degrees.

I clicked 180 degrees and now it is playing correctly. (so there is a work around, thanks)

The files I am using are from Vegas Hub, they are not my own files.

I also tried an MP4 version of the same file that works correctly from the Hub?
