If so before trying j-v's linked suggestions try a "factory reset". Instructions here https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/ The instructions apply to VMS as well as Pro. Make sure you tick the box to clear the cache. Reinstalling doesn't do this so often problems can be fixed by a simple reset. 1
