I need to remove clicks (noise) that sounds like clicks from the audio track of a video. In Soundforge it's possible using audio tools abut how it's possible on Vegas Pro?
What is strange to begin with is that most of the basic and native audio plugins are missing. The following image is of my Vegas Pro 16 Plug-In Chooser window showing all the audio plugins that should be there:
They also display under the 'All' selection.
You might want to reset your Vegas Pro 16 back to its default (factory) settings via the process given in:
... making sure to check the 'clear cache' window that pops up as part of the process.
Now on to the Click and Crackle Removal plugin. It does appear in the plug-in chooser in my Vegas Pro 16:
... under both 'Third Party' and 'All'.
I believe that Click and Crackle Removal as well as the other 3 plugins highlighted by the vertical red line are sourced from Sound Forge Pro (the plugin control windows and presets are exactly the same in both SFP and VP) - so Sound Forge Pro needs to be installed on the computer in order for those audio plugins to auto-install and appear in Vegas Pro.
Hi @debojitacharjee, Many versions of Vegas include Sound Forge Audio Studio and the top tier, Vegas Suite includes Sound Forge Pro,. (see version omparisons); Both Sound Forge versions have the basic auto Click/Crackle/Pop removal tool. SF Pro has two more, the Noise Reduction Pack (aka, NR-2.0) and iZotope's RX Elements. In either version of SF, you may also be able to manually remove clicks and pops that the 'auto' tools miss using 'Repair> Replace' or 'Repair> 'Interpolate' , You may also be able to manually repair clicks and such with the 'Pencil' tool to redraw the waveform were the annoyance occurs. iZotope's RX Advanced and Steinberg's Spectral Layers Pro (SLP) are popular third-party restoration tools but cost more, for instance RX Advanced is in the $1,000 range. SLP is less but has fewer 'auto' tools. That said, SLP rocked my restoration work either way and SLP is included when the Sound Forge Pro Suite is purchased singularly is well worth the 'upgrade' price to get SLP.

I need everything to be done on VP16 only but not on SP Pro. Is there a way to install the plugins for VP16? What is the folder location for the audio plugins of SP Pro?

Vegas Pro's native audio plugins are not a separately installed component, they are installed as an intrinsic part of the Vegas Pro program itself and do not, as far as I am aware, have an identifiable folder as occurs when installing 3rd party audio vst plugins. If I remember correctly, Vegas Pro and Sound Forge's audio plugins are in the Direct X format and may possibly be found deep in the registry - not that I've ever gone looking for them there. But if they're not in the registry, then the registry isn't the place to be to install anything.
Have you done the reset back to default settings? If that didn't work (which would be unusual), uninstall Vegas Pro 16 using the clean uninstall process outlined in:
... and then go to the Vegas Pro 16 listing under My Products in your MAGIX My Account and reinstall Vegas Pro 16 using the installer given there. The above process should clear your computer of any glitches affecting Vegas Pro and give you a fresh new installation which should include Vegas Pro's native audio plugins. Maybe then uninstall/reinstall Sound Forge Pro which should get it's four plugins into Vegas Pro.

Yes, the Noise Reduction Pack (NR-2.0) tools are Direct X plug-ins, and they do not need to be assigned to a search folder like the VSTs. W, hen installed they (and other DX plugs), should be available in the Vegas FX in the "ALL" category without any user assignments.

But I already installed the SF Pro but on VP16 I don't see the click removal FX. Why is that?
Assuming that you have done a reset back to default settings, please upload another image of the audio plugin chooser with the 'All' selection highlighted.
If the full Vegas Pro default audio plugins are not there, it's likely time to do the clean uninstall and re-install process.
