If you are the same person I assisted at NewBlue support, you indicated a reboot of your computer fixed the issue...

I'm having an issue with TP5 and Vegas 14 Pro I can drag the media generator to the timeline it opens up the properties tab and TP5 I can set the parameters for the my paragraph so they match the time in the properties tab add whatever I need to in TP5 after I'm done I close out TP5 it renders it out. But back on the timeline it's not matching up doing the full animations attributes etc as it was in TP5 and it constantly crashes Vegas it's getting very frustrating restarting and praying that the project was saved properly.I'm running Window 10 64 bit AMD FX 6300 6 core processor with 24gigs of Ram any help would be appreciated.

Can somebody tell me which Titler is bundled in Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Suite 14?

Daniel_Serrano wrote on 3/24/2017, 2:50 PM

I managed to get it working now, I just had hopes of making my own titles, but will make use of the included library, thanks Cornico.

1. What's the difference between.. (308MB)

"NewBlueFX Titler Pro Express / NewBlueFX Looks" (220.83MB) that is currently offered by the Vegas Pro 14 installer?

2. Are both the latest version (for VP14)?

3. What does a serial number starting "NBVEGPC-..." entitle someone to?

Quitter wrote on 4/16/2017, 12:42 AM

The current version offered by the installer is the same as in build 161 (NewBlueFX_Titler_Pro_Express_-_NewBlueFX_Looks_160824_1_0_0_0.exe)

161118 wich displays as 161119 is the latest and first faultless running version

These are the upgrade-conditions, if you have a serial number:

Last changed by Quitter on 4/16/2017, 12:49 AM, changed a total of 1 times.

Camcorder: Sony CX 520 VE
Hardware:   Acer NG-A717-72G-71YD, Win 10 Home 1903, i7-8750 H, 16GB, GTX 1060 6GB, 250GB SSD, 1TB HDD
NLE:  Sony Vegas Pro 13.0 Build 453
           Vegas Pro 14.0 Build 270

NickHope wrote on 4/16/2017, 2:31 AM

Thanks. So they are effectively the same thing? Seems like the Vegas installer should start linking to a newer version then.

Any idea what accounts for the extra 87MB in the 161118 installer?

jetdv wrote on 4/17/2017, 10:22 AM

Nick the installer you listed is the installer for Titler Pro Express and the other effects included in that bundle. So, yes, they are the same thing. The serial prefix you listed is for the bundle you listed. That bundle includes

Titler Pro Express

Color Fixer Pro

Skin Touch Up

Detail Enhancer

Glow Pro

Gradient Tint

Film Color

The Vegas Pro 14 Suite bundle is the same except instead of Titler Pro Express you get the full Titler Pro 3.

Thank you jetdv.

So the obvious question is, why does the current Vegas installer still point to the old bugged version when there's been a fixed version for nearly 4 months? Any reason it can't be updated?

jetdv wrote on 4/18/2017, 2:48 PM

I cannot answer that question. You would need to ask Magix why they haven't moved to the updated installer.

My Titler Pro Express (3) that was bundled with Vegas 14 is crashing with the new V14 252 build. All other NFX effects work, but the Titler crashes. I've uninstalled the x119 version and reinstalled (the x118.exe). No change. Put in a ticket with NFX. No response yet. This worked fine before updating to 252.

Please try the install process at the beginning of this post again. Also, please contact NewBlue support if that does not work.

I had NB Titler Pro 4 Ultimate 161118 working on my system - AMD FX8150 Win10Pro x64 with R9 390 GPU & Radeon 17.4.3 drivers.

Was happily working on a project yesterday which had a lot of Titler Pro events in it - it was slow to load in Vegas Pro 14 252, but once loaded was working. Upon turning on my system this morning & attempting to continue my work, NB Titler Pro will not launch - it seems to crash or get terminated on initialization & I have not been able to figure out why or what changed. Have attempted uninstall/reinstall & ensured removal of the OFXBridgeB64.dll file but still no luck.

If anyone has any helpful suggestions, please share.

Update: Somehow, upon performing a another uninstall/reinstall/delete OFXBridgeB64.dll & then a system reboot, it started working again. Unfortunately, still no idea what happened in the first place to cause the application to fail to launch - whether through VegasPro or the StandAlone.

Edward: Thank you for the detailed trouble-shooting procedures for the Newblue plugins. I'm using VP14, build 270 and I followed all your uninstall/re-install etc directions, all the way through deleting OFXBridge. TitlerExpress now works sometimes and crashes sometimes. I also still see the NB Essentials, Elements, Filters and Stylizers folders in my Vegas VideoFX pane, containing lots of FX with watermarks. I also have an NBFX window popping up asking for a serial number (one of which I never got during any installation). I can't help thinking something's out of sync, Should I have use of unwatermarked FX, or are these just put here to tease me? Do I need to have a serial number for what is supposed to come with VP14? I trust your knowledge of this technology can get me out of this unproductive cycle.

jetdv wrote on 8/12/2017, 3:41 PM

Widetrack, I hope you contacted NewBlue support as you will get much quicker responses. Sorry for the delay in getting to you here. I cannot say what you installed to get the other effects listed. If it was a bundle, then the serial number will come from Magix. If it was a trial, that would explain both the watermark and lack of serial number. Without more details, it is hard to know. If you haven not contacted NewBlue support to get this sorted out, please do so.

Widetrack wrote on 8/13/2017, 11:07 PM

Thanks for the note, Edward. I found the ID number and it has all been cleared up. I have been away for a while and I'm kind of bummed that a lot of the old timers from the Sony/Sonic Foundry days seem not to be here in force. Have guys been abandoning Vegas, or just aging out (which is kind of my situation). But I'm glad to see you here.

Hi jetdv, I followed all your instructions but nothing so I deleted the OFXBridgeB64.dll file and now Titler pro 4 is working as it should but I think we have another problem by doing so... talking specific to Edius 8 here, All my OFX plugins from the OFX Bridge have disappeared, before updating to the lastest version of TP4 and the OFX Bridge I didn't have any issues, any suggestions?

There is no updated installer for Titler Pro 1 and I have not tested Titler Pro 1 in Vegas Pro 14.
