no audio in renders after update

I applied the update today and now I have audio in the vegas pro program but when I render it comes out with no audio. The rest of my computer is uneffected.

What source footage (file format) are you rendering? (Media info)
Which project settings? (Screenshot)
Which rendering settings? (Screenshot from Video and Audio) - is "Include audio" checked in the render settings?

i think i may have figured it out but not at all sure how. is there a leason just on audio?
