@Dexcon I generally open multiple posts at one time as tabs and then reply to each of them in turn. So I am not ignoring your post; it just didn't exist when I began to reply to this one.
Like @3POINT, the clip plays back fine on my computer.
What you @prikob fail to provide is what your computer specs are. See my Signature below, and you do the same. @Dexcon requested this information and provided a link to what you have to provide. It is the first reply to your post. Your User Profile is blank.
Suggestion, add your computer specs to your User Profile>My Signature, so it will appear like mine below.
As suggested by @RogerS, that is looks like a GPU issue. So in Options>Preferences>Video tab, what do you have listed as GPU acceleration of video processing? And in the File I/O tab, Hardware decoder to use, and do you have either Enable legacy AVC decoding or Enable experimental HEVC decoding check marked?
You mention a new install of Windows, I'm guessing your GPU drivers are up to date?
Hi @prikob we have very similar hardware! I have a 13600K and 5070. The problem is VEGAS does not yet support GPU decoding with the RTX 50XX series for your 10-bit 422 media. VEGAS Hub lists it as one of the features that is being worked on.
With my computer I can switch it to the Intel iGPU under preferences/ file io but your CPU doesn't have an iGPU. Under file io turn hardware decoding off when you use this media and the media should at least play back. You'll likely need proxy files for now (right click on media and create video proxy).

Glad I could help. Hopefully there will be support for the 50XX in the next patch. Then you can put hardware decoding back to NVIDIA NVDEC and gain a big performance boost.
