No videos will render. They all crash within 3 - 4 seconds. I disabled gpu acceleration. Im trying to render 4k 60 fps go pro footage. I also tried a random game clip nothing works. It blue screened my pc once as well.

@Charles-Brown
Why are you trying to render with the old Mainconcept processor, if there are also possibilities to use your very good Nvidia or QSV renderoptions?
Can you show your settings at Options/Preferences/Video and ..../File I/O?
Also please a screenshot from the result of Help/Check for Driver Updates

I switched to NVIDIA in your SC and I got farther than I ever have then my pc blue screened. I also downloaded the Studio driver

- I see that your IGPU (Intel Graphic Processor 770) not available is.

You have to dive into the BIOS of your computer to allow that IGPU to show up in Windows Device Management.
- After that you have to download and Install its latest drivers
- That done you have to reset your Vegas Installation because than it finds that IGPU with the best program settings. For resetting you have to follow exact this tutorial: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/
After the reset change nothing and try again to render you project to a location that has 2 x the needed empty space for that project,
I wish you good luck with all needed things

The on-die Intel UHD770 video hardware can be useful for decoding many types of video even if you have a powerful Nvidia video card. Enabled in Options/Preferences/File I/O.

It must be enabled in UEFI* if it's not available automatically.

*UEFI screens vary by motherboard.

"It blue screened my pc once as well."

What is the nature of the Blue Screen? Either from the Windows Event Log or Windows Reliability History Report.

Your reports of recurring blue screens bother me.

They raise the possibility of a harware error.

  • Start a render with a CPU temperature monitor showing and watch it closely.
  • Blow the dust bunnies out of your fans, fins, and box.
  • Run a deep error scan on your main hard drive.
  • Physically check your hard drive connectors and RAM seating.
  • Try rendering to a different hard drive.

I have also had major GoPro Footage issues since this last release. I turned on the Experimental HVEC, and it seems to help. But it is still way to slow and it only runs on the CPU. The software runs like the coding got messed up from the last release, and they didn't catch it.
