I customized the the MAGIX AVC/AAC MP4 Blu-ray template to use the "NV Encoder" encode mode rather than the default "Mainconcept AVC". When I attempt to render I get the following error:
Any suggestions?
I see the same for some customized templates, not all.
Which template did you customize?
@rtbond I get the same error on my laptop (3060 gpu) when I try to change the BluRay template to Nvenc. Looks like it doesn't like interlace. Works fine if I change it to progressive. Looks like only the Qsv and MainConcept templates give me no errors rendering interlace. If you're authoring BluRay, suggest you try going with progressive.
Also took a look at my Sony Avc/Mvc BlurRay template with legacy encoding enabled and set it to use "CPU and GPU if Available"... it used only cpu and the System tab told me "No GPU Available". Btw, gpu is always available here on my Amd gpu systems and Sony templates are what I always used back when I was authoring with DVD Arch.
Howard - Yes changing the Blu-ray template to progressive avoids the NV Encoder error. Thanks!
