@Wiew nice! I also like the music!

A quick little video I did this morning. My mom told me about keeping salsa longer in the jar.

I put this video together whilst recording my latest progressive rock solo album. It was put together in Vegas 13.

Cheers

Peter.

Damn that was good! Two people in a studio and you made a 7 minute song so interesting I watched the whole thing!

I'll be premiering an original musical work at 7pm. The video was made using a combo of VP17 and Adobe After Effects.

xberk, Loved, just loved, Jill & Jack!

Pacing & timing, dialogue & delivery, just brilliant!

Your inversion of the cliché, the extraordinary tension you create with such quiet means, is joyous.

For fulfilling the implicit hope of the story and for your wry humour, thanks so much,

Tim

Here's one I put together from my recent trip to Vietnam (Sep 2022). Cross the street....if you dare!

Reyfox wrote on 10/13/2022, 2:59 PM

@Len Kaufman amazing how they are used to riding like that. It's the same in Uganda, where they use motorcycles as taxis for entire families.

@Reyfox Yes. I frequently saw 4, sometimes 5, if there were young kids involved on bikes. And loads of goods easily as high again as the bike and rider. And here in the U.S., we have a single person going to the supermarket in an SUV for a quart of milk.Go figure!

I did eventually get up enough courage to cross on my own, with a little tutelage from a friend that lives there.

This is my first "How to..." video. I am attempting to demonstrate how to build an Oak Hanging Garden Lantern. Any feedback/critique is welcome, but be gentle. This is my first attempt at a detailed how to video. I mumble and slur my way thru it. (you don't realize until you hear yourself for 20 minutes)

Very fine nice built, good shots and edit.

The titles are a bit too large to my taste.

Reyfox wrote on 10/18/2022, 2:59 AM

@DMT3 I thought the video was very good! Maybe the font size could have been smaller, but I was fine with the size you had.

Sadly, I have no wood working skills...

DMT3 wrote on 10/18/2022, 8:03 AM

@FayFen @Reyfox Thanks for watching and for your comments. I appreciate them. I have been a video editor for a long time primarily in the days of computer controlled videotape machines. I did all of my editing on large screens. I have noticed in the last few years since I have been editing with Vegas and small viewing windows (even though I have a full size monitor I can use) I tend to make the fonts large. That is my bad and I need to learn not to overcompensate for the small screen. 😬  Thanks again.

Reyfox wrote on 10/18/2022, 8:07 AM

@DMT3, again, I found no issue with the size of the fonts. I think it's a personal matter of choice/taste. It didn't distract from the video at all. I found the video interesting from the standpoint that I know zero about wood working. Even your safety tips (which you admit sometimes you do not follow).

@DMT3 , Yes I'm also from the preroll, BVE3000, BVE9000 and 1"/U-matic/ beta tapes era...

I even learn how to run 2" RCA VTR... as they just phased them about a year later.

Continuing to chug along in Vegas Pro 19 at these simple animation videos, this latest one is barely 3 minutes long but has a 4.1mb VEG file with over 1,800 events. Ouch...

Thanks Tim for the nice, thoughtful comments. The hardest thing is getting a simple, yet compelling story idea that can be done around the house.

This is my latest production. I recorded, filmed and produced this track for a friend (David Myers). The track was produced in my home studio.

I used three Sony HD cameras strategically placed around the studio for the various takes. It was then edited in Vegas 19 and merged with the original soundtrack.
