Lately, my role as Editor-in-Chief has been subordinated to my role as Archivist-in-Chief.

When my wife discovered this doll that she bought for my daughter when she was a young adult, I just had to share it with everyone on the planet. Others have shared, but not in UHD, with a tripod and they didn't delete the room and mechanical noise below -37db. It's likely these sentiments will never be expressed (even in jest) by any corporate entity in the future even as society gets coarser and coarser in its discourse.

@set thank you as always for sharing. The first video, nice touch using the Polish flag!! :D

Love the filming and dancing. Wow! Very talented children!

Watching the children smiling, and the outfits they wore was wonderful. Using the "blankets" as transitions was a nice touch too!

Wiew wrote on 12/13/2022, 3:49 PM

@Reyfox

As soon as the English subtitles are ready I will post those versions.

It's actually crazy how many hours of work go into a 1 minute video.

Someone who is not involved in filming and editing would call us crazy if we tell them :-)

Reyfox wrote on 12/13/2022, 3:56 PM

I've told them how much time it can take to make a 1 minute video. They don't believe it and wonder why so much time.

But that's ok... once they try it themselves, they'll understand.

Again, great work!

@john_dennis Back in the day (60's), it was a trip to be avoided. These days, it's one of the most pleasant destinations I've encountered (that after 91 countries...but who's counting?). Super hospitable people, especially considering what transpired between our 2 countries. The most difficult part of the trip was getting there (and back). 40 hours, from where I live (Florida). But once you're there, super easy and even economical, too!

@vkmast Call it the "luck of the draw," or "dumb luck," I ended up in Korea, and not Vietnam. The entire Army photo class ahead of mine (Ft. Monmouth, NJ) went to Vietnam. My class got good assignments. Going to Korea changed my life course, as it imbued me with the desire (and knowledge) to travel. Before that, I had only been to Canada, with the Boy Scouts. Once I saw the "wide world," there was no turning back.
