In 2017, we edited an entire 90 minute movie in Vegas Pro. It looks three months of editing and I will post a video after this showing the method we used to do it. Sadly, our dog, who was in a brief scene, passed away last night, so we made this little tribute clip.
First time poster here- I'd like to share a short promotional video I did for a textile artist who will be exhibiting her latest costume "Wearing New Cells" in Taichung, Taiwan next weekend.
A departure from my usual work, it uses a bit of Mocha bezier masking, a GL transition, VST3s and VEGAS content footage and sounds from VP 21.
A little backstory. I am a transplanted ex-native NY'er. I've lived in NYC most of my life (over 50 years). I moved to Poland 12 years ago and haven't looked back. I like the "old" history, buildings and culture here. And when the wife and I travel, we take the train and our bikes. Poland is very bike friendly, even the hotels where we stary.
This is the latest video I've done to show my family and friends, who know nothing about how Poland looks. It's an adventure for me and I am loving it. The country, people, culture and food.
And after the event, change the VEGAS Content footage to become an intro (and outro as well), since we now have the 'real'-stock from the location:
(16:9 Aspect ratio)
And the above-originally-Instagram post is also adjusted for use in the LED screen 'launching moment' display (minute 16:24 - 16:58 (4:3 Aspect ratio))
I lived in NYC most of my life (over 50 years). I retired and moved to Poland. There was an adjustment, but I looked at it as an adventure. I've been living this adventure for over 12 years. I speak no Polish. That's what the wife does! But no one back home had any idea of what Poland looks like. Since I love exploring my "backyard", I record and post the videos to show people back home what Poland looks like. It's amazing!
Our last vacation this year. Edited in Vegas Post 21 365. Music is all from Smartsound.
What good work is being seen here! Congratulations guys.
I took advantage of the astronomical event of the "Luna del Cazador" (Hunter's Moon) with a partial eclipse to record it with the FZ2000 from my location in the southwest of Europe:
I've finished my two part + preview video tribute to my brother for our family and friends.
It is a slideshow of just a sliver of his prolific artwork, accompanied by the music we loved together while coming of age in the '70s. It was an incredible time to be alive.
We were farmtown kids from Nebraska. We were both musical, and gigged together at local honkytonks when he was still in high school and I was in college. I went on to perform and produce musical shows after college.
Gary went on to earn a suma cum laude in Art at UNL in 1978, and was hired straightaway by a prestigious publishing house in D.C., where he remained until retiring as Senior Art Director almost twenty years later.
The music, thankfully, has been cleared for reuse by Youtube. Full Playlist is here:
Ah, through your Video, it’s obvious to me that Gary is still a much loved man. Such an immense body of work, reflecting both his deep understanding of the Creative Image and the rich legacy of the History of Art.
In these troubled times your work, Mark, has given all of us a time of tranquil reflection and Hope.
Thank you for these most thoughtful comments, Graham. I am looking to get back on track with our restoration project in the coming weeks, if you're not overbooked. Have a blessed celebration of the solstice. @Grazie
Many of his early period were large abstract pieces. Later he was immersed in, and channeled the great post-impressionist painters of Europe.
@mark-y I can see he was extremely talented, and how much you loved him and miss him. I know about the loss of a brother, and this video is a testament to him and his art.
A year's worth of timelapse videos of the skies above the Golden Gate Bridge. Shot with a GoPro H3+B, one frame every 30 seconds from November 17, 2022 to December 15, 2023.
This is a simple, short video I did of some of the repairs I am attempting on my Viking Grandfather clock that I built from a kit in 1981. Not much fancy.
