I cannot give an answer to the question...I am not on the marketing or sales side of the company. Since we are now under new management things might be different for this upcoming release. (And, yes, Vegas Pro 23 is coming.) Offers, pricing, release date...all these things might be altered a bit this year.
I am hoping we will be able to soon announce some of the exciting things coming with VP23. The team has worked very hard to make some vast improvements over the last year.
Vegas has offered a 2-for-1 upgrade a number of times in the past, but not always. When available, it's usually in August but disappears the moment the new version is released. So if you want it and see it, grab it quick before you miss out.

Hopefully this is a sign that more respect will be given to VEGAS Pro, and that the new managers will not want to revisit another restructuring brought on by finances and money. With that said, they may feel that giving their new versions away for free if you buy the old did what it did and was what it was.
This is a different situation from Artlist's acquisition of FXhome. In that case, Artlist absorbed FXhome and began using their engineering resources to help enhance and expand Artlist's own products. For Magix, our excellent new management team was brought in to run the company by our new investors/owners. We are still a separate company whose purpose is strictly to continue to develop our products using the engineering teams that have been working on them for many years. We have not been merged into another company. The structure of the business is actually not much different than it was in previous years, just a different investment company is overseeing us. The other companies our parent ownership group has under its umbrella are not looking to use our engineering resources to enhance their other businesses. Magix is still its own company.
Ouvi falar que lanáado em setembro perto do final, nas pesquisas aqui encontrei essa foto, só n'o sei see se é real
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to clarify that the supposed promotional image of VEGAS Pro 23 that has recently been circulating was created by me, purely for illustrative purposes, to accompany a blog article I wrote. There was absolutely no intention to mislead anyone or impersonate any official communication from MAGIX.
My only goal was to share my enthusiasm as a long-time VEGAS Pro user and to offer some personal commentary on the speculation and expectations surrounding the next release. If you're curious, here’s the full article:
I take this opportunity to thank the development team — I know you’ve been working very hard. As someone who's been a fan since the early versions, I’m truly excited to see the community so active and full of anticipation.
Word of caution...David Hague is spreading inaccurate information about Vegas undergoing to complete rewrite. Do not use him as a reliable source. And his source on the development team is me.
This is the exact message sent to him. He seems to have extracted the rest out of thin air...
We are currently working Vegas Pro 23, which will be one of our biggest releases in recent memory. We have just started beta testing for this new release. We look forward to being able to get this out to our users a few months from now.

Thank you, Derek, for the clarification and for taking the time to step in directly. I truly appreciate your transparency and your work with the Vegas Pro development team. 🙏
I’ll make sure to update my blog article accordingly and include a note about the misinterpretation. It was never my intention to spread misinformation — my only goal was to share the excitement with fellow Vegas users based on what seemed like promising news from a usually reputable contributor in the video industry.
To be fair, I believe David Hague has always shown support for Vegas and has helped the community over the years, but of course, clear and accurate communication is essential — especially when many users (myself included) are still passionate about the software and eager to see it evolve.
Again, thanks for setting the record straight. I’ll be following the upcoming VP23 release closely and look forward to the improvements you and the team have been working hard on. ✨
VEGAS Pro 23 is in development and as I mentioned before, in beta testing. We have not posted any date of release or any other information about it.
With new management this year, development, sales and marketing are being handled differently, so things may not be quite the same as in previous years as far as release date, price and offers.
