Preview Audio/Video desync on every file

Vegas Pro 21 315

I rendered a project yesterday afternoon and everything was normal. Closed the program.

Opened it again a couple hours later, and now every video file (multiple formats) I add to the timeline will preview properly if played from the beginning of the clip, but if i click at a random frame on the clip the audio will preview as expected, but the video will play from a seemingly random or glitchy point.

I'm not the most familiar with troubleshooting PC issues in general so any help would be huge.

Is the media variable framerate? Is it MXF format? Please share MediaInfo for the main video types you use.

For a possible workaround that would have less of a performance penalty, you could check "enable legacy AVC decoding" assuming the media is AVC.
