Preview Screen on 2nd Monitor is huge!

bryan-wilson wrote on 9/15/2021, 11:50 PM

Just upgraded to the Vegas Post suite and when I try and add the 2nd external preview monitor after I click the Monitor icon the 2nd preview is enormous and goes across both monitors and I am unable to resize to fit the 2nd monitor. All of the Preference settings are the same as my last Vegas Pro 14 so I am stumped. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried the search function here in the forum?
I recall that there have been several queries about difficulties with a second monitor - perhaps an earlier post will help you.

Did you have "scale video to fit preview window" checked (right-click on the display)? Otherwise try alternate high DPI settings.

Try the
VEGAS 4K "sample project" benchmark (works with VP 16+): https://forms.gle/ypyrrbUghEiaf2aC7
VEGAS Pro 20 "Ad" benchmark (works with VP 20+): https://forms.gle/eErJTR87K2bbJc4Q7

@bryan-wilson: This should solve your problem. Go to preferences and select the "Display" tab and toggle the option for "Alternate High DPI settings". It is the last option on that page of the preferences.
