Problem with render becoming frozen due to a particular error

Hey people, so this is my first post here and I am posting this to find out a solution for a problem that I have been facing for quite some time now on VEGAS PRO 16... The problem is that whenever I try to render my projects with disabling so4 compound for AVC/M2TS and disabling so4 compund reader for PRO/RES HEVC (since without doing that, I have found that some parts of the audio in my video always get horribly distorted and produce a loud, screeching noise), I always get stuck at around 54 percent and I get this error that I have listed down below. Now, I have done the usual fixes like turn off gpu acceleration and restrict VEGAS from using all the cpu cores by going to task manager and then details and then setting affinities for VEGAS to not use all the cpu cores but that has not fixed it for me! Can someone please help me with this error because it has been bothering me for so long and I have looked everywhere for a solution but couldn't manage to find a fix for it so, if anyone could help me with this as soon as possible, that would be great!

The included error report only says that Vegas Pro 16 failed, it say nothing about why.

Does the render always fail at 54%?

Look at the clip, and fxs around the area of the failure.

Can you render a selection from 50% to 60%?

To answer your question, yes I can render any selected amount of my project so long as it is short and also, it doesn't necessarily get stuck at 54 percent (sometimes more or sometimes less) but my main query was actually that recently, I have been noticing that when I have so4 compound disabled and then I try to render my project then Vegas crashes at some point in the render and shows the error message "Vegas Pro has stopped working with the error above as I have already stated. However, if I enable so4 compound and then render my project it renders absolutely fine but my only problem with that is that one of my audio files in my project is an AVC file and because of having so4 compound enabled, some parts of that audio file gets distorted in the project and after rendering as well and that is my main problem! Any possible solution to this?

I'm going to have to pass on so4compoundplug.dll issues.

Well ok, that’s quite unfortunate to hear but either way, thanks for your responses and by any chance, if you can still manage to provide any information regarding so4compoundplug.dll and this problem I am facing then please do let me know!
