Movie Studio 17 Platinum

Hi I have recently had an issue when creating a new project. As soon as I try to add media, in this case video files, the programme stops working. This has not happened previously.

I have reported this to the support team, but it still continues to occur.

Anyone had experience of the same problem, and/or off any solution?
