Project with LUT not portable

When I add a LUT to a Vegas 17 project the absolute file path of the LUT gets wired into the project. Other media in the project seem to get a relative file path embedded instead. This means that if the project and it's media including the LUT gets moved to another drive letter or directory, everything works except for the LUT. For example, if the project is on removable media that ever gets it's drive letter mapped differently, the following appears in LUT media fx...

Every time this happens, the project needs to be edited again to conform the file path to the LUT.
