registering sony vegas 13 pro

I am trying to register my sony vegas 13 to a new computer. I was running the trial version for a while until it expired. I just now try to enter the serial number from my older computer, click submit. the program says "will restart to complete registration process", but when it comes back up i get the same screen saying the trial is over and to enter the sn or buy the product.

How can I register vegas 13 with my existing serial number?

Nick..worked great..thanks!. I did try to RTFM first ! I removed the sw and then reinstalled, that did not fix it; i tried to move the date back in time, that did not fix it; my next step would be to start removing registry entries.

Odd that my vegas 12 registered fine...
