@GerY - Yes, reproed.

Former user wrote on 11/11/2021, 1:39 AM

Yep same here, at the first time search i get little blue circle for a short while while it writes the first letter i typed as in your pic, second search is a little better but still stutters searching & deleting searched words

ritsmer wrote on 11/11/2021, 2:09 AM

Reproed too - but no big issue here as I never use that function

When you are doing an initial search, we do see very slow response. Once it comes back, it seems to be relatively snappy for the rest of the session.

@VEGASDerekI'd say that it's "better" but not snappy and not as fast as it was before 424.

System 1:

Windows 10
i9-10850K 10 Core
128.0G RAM
Nvidia RTX 3060 Studio driver [most likely latest]
Resolution        3840 x 2160 x 60 hertz
Video Memory 12G GDDR5

System 2:

Lenovo Yoga 720
Core i7-7700 2.8Ghz quad core, 8 logical
16G ram
Intel HD 630 gpu 1G vram
Nvidia GTX 1050 gpu 2G vram

@VEGASDerek 그것이 "더 낫다"고 말하지만 424 이전에는 더 빨리 지도합니다.

Me too very very slow so just turn it off and run it again

when i search for a plugin in the Plugin window search MAGIX VEGAS Pro v19.0 Build 424 crashes and again when i import many blackmagic raw files(more than 20 braw files) in V 19 some of the files shows black.

@prince-pep
Make your system resources known - preferably in your signature - then you won't have to ask for them in the future.
Furthermore, the properties of your media files that are causing problems.

Attached are pics shown of media info of the braw files thats shows black when i input into vegas.

walter-i. wrote on 11/12/2021, 6:38 AM

@prince-pep
You should continue with the black pics in your original post - that doesn't fit here.
https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/de/forum/blackmagic-raw-files-turns-black-in-vegas-pro-19--132001/

Regarding the crash when searching in the plugin window, you should - as requested before - write your system resources in your signature - these would also be helpful in your other post, by the way.

@VEGASDerek - OK.

Once it comes back, it seems to be relatively snappy for the rest of the session.

@VEGASDerek - Ah, righto. So the next session? Am I to assume that this is a volatile, momentary search?

Next search within the same session. When you clear your original search and start typing again.

Same here, before the update, it worked perfectly!

Phil_P wrote on 11/23/2021, 8:57 AM

Just ran into this (I didn't use search that often since the update), but yes indeed now...

Typing first character and Vegas freezes for around 10 seconds. The freeze time gets shorter depending on how many characters are typed (presumably becuase the remaining options to search are smaller).

So the first character takes 10 seconds etc. But if you type something non-sensical then the search is very fast.

For example:

  • s (20 seconds)
  • t (10 seconds)
  • a (8 seconds)
  • f (2 seconds)
  • f (instant)
  • f (ditto)
  • f (ditto)

Also seems to be reset for each section that has searchable area.

It's a known issue. We're working on it. Sorry.
