Thanks dude - lets give this a shot...

Hurray - the smarty pants factor on this site is scary!

Oh, I think we had about 12 computers going. Off to the right is a laptop and a firewire drive farm that is hidden behind the rack - That is Vegas crunching away!

Finally got around to taking a photo of my new workspace

Just moved in on Monday... and have not spent more than a few hours there so far this week.

Wow. Dang, you guys have lots of stuff. These workspaces are so elaborate! Mine isn't even worth my time to get my camera. Picture a flat panel between two speakers. Then there's the mounds of schoolwork on the left...

Yeah, and the USB cable going to the interactive Barney.

Just kidding. I gave my son my old PC, he was then 2yo. He's into my ACID loops now, though. I think I'll get him Sony's Super Duper Music Looper for Christmas.

You use standard HTML:

<A HREF="http://www.mediaartsolutions.net">www.mediaartsolutions.net</A>
gives you: www.mediaartsolutions.net

Could you elaborate in great detail from step one to the end on how to do this as other sites are simply almost automatic.

Thanks

JJ,

You just type exactly what he typed. The quote marks around the actual URL are not necessary here, and the second mention of the URL is just text, it can be a descriptive comment instead if you want.

I don't get how my jpg gets there from my computer before I type that stuff in. And where does the jpg end up?

James, your .jpg file must be on a web server somewhere. You can get free web space from places like Geocities/Yahoo or Tripod.com. Your ISP probably offers some free space with your account.

One of these days i've gotta get the image upload section over at VegasUsers.com working.

Most impressed by the expansiveness and tidiness of your workspaces. So we need some contrast to this pretty picture -- check out mine!

i don't remember the fone's history - probably from a time when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Thing is ... that fone is reliable. The portable wireless fone sometimes takes 6 or 7 rings to connect. One in the bedroom has a loose connection somewhere. They don't make 'em like they used to ...
