This MOV will not play in VP19 B643

I have a BusyBoxx account. I downloaded a file and it will not play back in Vegas.

Quicktime plugin for Windows is installed and in Deprecated Features, it is check marked.

Suggestions?

Hitfilm Pro, Resolve 18 Studio, and a consumer editor, Pinnacle Studio 25 Ultimate played the file just fine.

It does have an alpha channel.

@Reyfox Thanks, yeah Vegas just played a sq going around the screen...

but got it to work, Properties - Straight Unmatted showed the Alpha on the timeline but not until i changed preview to Good (Full, Half or Quarter) did it show on screen, just not in Preview - (Full) 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I don't use the deprecated apple quicktime driver. Was not able to open with vp19 back to vp16. Maybe you need a different version of quicktime. Perhaps older that the one you have. Have not seen rll encoding since ancient disk drives went the way of the dinosaurs.

Thank you @Former user! Yes, that solved the problem! @Howard-Vigorita, here is the site BUSYBOXX where the clip came from. I've used a lot of their assets in the past without problems, but it's been a while. I needed this one and it would not play back. Look through the site. It caters more to the AE people, but they also have the files in MP4 with alpha in addition to QT with alpha.
