hello, i am using the vegas pro 14 and now with my new cam sony fs 7. my files in the 4k,25p. 50p. 60p mode and xavc long gop format makes in the preview big judder problems. when i am using the much bigger files in xavc-intra format i have no problem. the pc is window 10, 64 bit and 12 gb ram. intel i 7 with 3.47 ghz. when i am using the content manager programm 2.1 there is also no problem. so the hardware seems to be fast enough. do i change something in the setup of vegas 14?

thanks for your help.

best regards

patrick

I'm afraid this is a common issue. Previously discussed here and here.

You can transcode the footage to XAVC-I, which plays more nicely. Batch rendering scripts can help with that, or you can use the free Sony Catalyst Browse to do it outside of Vegas.

Or you could use proxies.
