Unable to minimize Vegas while rendering

While rendering, I am unable to minimize the Vegas application window to the system tray by clicking the -. The spinning circle is present and any click attempts are not registered. Formerly I was able to do so in VP 22. Is there a setting to change this, or is it a new behavior? The app isn't frozen/crashed, rendering proceeds normally, no excess system resources usage going on. High end Windows 11 laptop that flies through render processing. Any ideas?

I suspect this might be an intentional departure from Windows standards. Because it also disables the Windows task-bar auto-hide setting when Vegas is full-screen. Otherwise you could also click on the Vegas-taskbar icon to minimize it. Only good workaround I've found is to make sure Vegas is not full-screen. Then the task-bar honors my Windows setting to un-hide. And I can click on the Vegas-taskbar icon to minimize even during renders.

The only other possibility is to set Windows to always show the task-bar. Problem is that might eventually burn the task-bar image into your monitor.

I select the show 'desktop' icon on the PC's taskbar which minimizes Vegas and shows the PC's home screen. If your PC does not have a taskbar desktop icon command, it can be pinned to the taskbar in the PC's settings or by dragging a shortcut.

I did discover Vegas' focus can be hidden/shown to/from the background while a render is processing by clicking the app's Taskbar icon. This does not crash/stop the process. It just allows you to minimize Vegas to go do other things while it keeps working in the background. I believe this is simply a change in v23. Version 22 did allow you to minimize/resize it by using the window tools. Just me being unfamiliar with this new change. Probably by design so you don't accidentally interrupt a render....?
