FIXED?: Vegas "Problem Report" window immediately pops up before project files finish loading.
- Windows 11 Home Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100
- System: Dell XPS 8930 x64 - BIOS Version/BIOS Dell Inc. 1.1.28, 12/28/22
- Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz, 3000 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER Version 576.83
- Vegas 17.0 (Build 455) [Preferences:] GPU Acceleration of video processing: NVIDIA; Licensed copy
Started happening yesterday, I didn't manually run any updates until after the issue started happening; those didn't fix the issue, so tried rolling back but alas nothing. sfc /scannow, DISM /Online didn't fix.
Using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) v18.1.3.1 and choosing "GPU - NVIDIA" -> Clean and restart makes it so that for a brief period (minute or two) I can fully open projects as normal and continue working on them indefinitely (at least until Vegas crashes; when I reopen the project it gives the same error unless I restart the PC and run DDU again). I attempted running the "GPU - All GPUs" option in DDU as well in safe mode, and same thing happens of it only fixing the issue for a cpl mins.
Here's the problem details/ extra information:

I tried downloading the trial version of Vegas 22.0 to try and see if they'd open up. It gives the same error but lists some different files in the "Extra Information":

One YouTube video with a quite positive like/dislike ratio said to replace the .dll file that is listed as the "Fault Module", in my case nvcuda64.dll . Had to enable "Take Ownership" in the right-click menu to be able to overwrite it with a copy downloaded from dllme, and this actually seems to have worked, (even after restart) but not sure if this is the best way to fix this? Figured I would post what I went through anyways for future reference/others to find.
