i'm sure we'll be reading about it in no time at all. that said, i'm holding off till the reports (biased and unbiased) start to roll in.

we have till the end of june (if i'm not mistaken) to assess the feedback and still get the discounted upgrade, so i'm not panic'd.

from what i've read there's some interesting things in v9, but this 'pre-ordering' hype and build up has made me rather sceptical.

will we get a fanfare upon downloading?

I'd recommend that anyone currently in a project save all veg's with new titles so that you don't mix V8 titles with V9 titles. Usually you aren't able to "go back" once you've saved into a new version, and you'd hate to lose something you've been working on.

Yeh, I would be interested to know myself about other Vegas users in Israel. I figured I was the only one. Cool to know that's not the case. No games since I am Hebrew challenged. I've only lived here for a year but being 47 years old and editing for a living makes learning Hebrew a daunting task. I live in Zichron, aifo atah?

11:18 and no download. Gives you a bit of an uneasy feeling that the download didn't go up right at midnight. Makes you think there still working on it which I guess is a given or they would have released at NAB. I wonder what they are still working on what prevented a NAB release? Must have been significant.

I'm starting to believe there will not be a release today. Why update the Vegas information page from "Coming May 11th" to "Coming in May"? I pre-ordered thinking I would get it May 11th. Now, I'm beginning to think that may not happen.
I personally believe in the under-promise and over-deliver idea so I don't like it when a deadline isn't met.

It's OK Vegas Pro 9 already has got out. I have put while TRIAL. That is interesting, layout of windows precisely such as I have made to myself in 8 versions.
Colour interesting, more sweetly. While I am dug in him, at first sight same as well as 8. That especially pleases - it is not necessary on new to assign hotkeys
