I have placed several video files of this type:

on the timeline and twice when I used the "L" key to make it play fast it has stuck into the mode of playing fast, I hear the audio of the clip, but my entire machine has frozen and I cannot do anything, no Ctrl+Alt+Del or Ctrl+Shift+Escape, nothing!  I have to hard shutdown and start again.  Ouch!

This is a hard bug to find out what the cause is because it locks up my machine hard, so no error log form and not one I want to reproduce as it hurts my windows installation I am sure.  But I do know that I did not have a project saved, I was just opening an Untitled project and placed the clips in to preview.

Anyone else experience this and know of a solution to stop it?  I have never experienced this before on previous versions of Vegas on the same system.
