ALWAYS download the trial version before you buy.

I have used vegas pro 14, 15, and now I upgraded to vegas pro 16. It is true, that rendering is faster with vegas pro 16. The problem that I'm having is, vegas pro 16, is not recognizing vegas pro 15. I get an error message, that the Newer Version (Vegas Pro 16) won't work with the Older Version (Vegas Pro 15). Can someone help me with this?

Can you give a screenshot of this error message?

I just upgraded to Vegas 15 this year. Now I keep getting the offer to upgrade to 16. Can anyone tell me what the benefits are to upgrade? I'm currently still using Windows 7 64bit, Intel I7 4820k@3.70ghz, 32 gb Ram.

Storyboard mode is great for organizing your projects. Vegas 16 is the best NLE out there for HDR. 16 has better performance and renders faster in some cases than 15. 16 is more stable than 15, and they're working hard to improve it further. Just a few things that have helped me out with my upgrade from 15.
