Vegas 18 hangs when rendering MP4 files, every type, every time.

I am editing a two camera concert using mpeg-4 files as well as MOV files when I go to render it stalls at about 3 or 4% in and I have to reboot Vegas this happens under every mpeg-4 render option every single time it did the same thing to me in Vegas 17 not sure where the problem was hoping if I spent the money today that would go away unfortunately it has not

In the help menu, VP 18 has a facility for Driver Updates.

Could you try using that and see if it fixes things? Assuming of course you find out that you're not upto date.

So I updated my Drivers and tried to render to

MP4 MAGIX AVC/AAC Internet HD 180P 59.94 FPS (Nvidia NVENC)

Render hung at 36%.

Please help.

Did you have or tried alreadyyour Options/Preferences/Video "Dynamic RAM Preview Max" set to 0?

So, I set the Dynamic RAM Preview Max to 0 and I was able to complete the render. Strange that this only happens in Vegas. No issues in Premier or Power Director
