Just put together an Intel NUC8i7HVK and it runs Vegas v16 like a demon from Hades. Really solid performer stands up well against my other much larger systems. The gpu is very Vegas friendly.
I've been considering the form factor since Vegas can utilize the Intel iGPU. I'm looking to pare down all my technology from full sized desktop to a much smaller form factor - the question is how well it handles 4K or above footage for future proofing. It'll probably entail proxy files to edit smoothly is my guess...

It has a mobile vega GPU, so much more powerful than Igpu, but it also has intel quicksync for high quality hardware encoding.
@Howard-Vigorita how does it handle 4k50/60p on the timeline with some basic plugins?
@Former user Don't have a 4k camera myself so I have not worked with 4k yet. I did find some short test clips shot with a c200 on 4kshooters.net and they loaded onto the v16 timeline without any fuss. Here's the link to the samples I found: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B5bgT6TyHVt6cjlWaWRfNFZDcG8 ... if you have some specific sample you can point me to I'd be happy to try them.
