Rendering is not an issue.
Multitude of clips cause the crashing but they're all screen recorded using the same software stated above.
I have turned off "GPU acceleration of video processing" under Options > Preferences > Video
As this was a recommendation in the past. But it doesn't seem to be helping much anymore.
It seems to crash a lot more frequently when ever I am dealing with video velocity under event envelopes.
As a rough idea of how consistently this is happening, I am having to ctrl-s every time I do something just to be safe. It can crash anywhere between 10-15 times in 30 minutes.
I've since created a batch file that kills the process the moment it happens because thankfully, if I am keen eyed enough, if Vegas hangs up on me I notice the video playback happens to freeze on a frame... Such as if the timeline is moving at all or I move somewhere else on the timeline, it wont show the new frame I've moved to. This gives me the opportunity to ctrl-s and then when I click the play button or pause, sure enough it freezes the whole application, white screen, windows time out error and then results in me having to force close.
Is it perhaps me over using the shift-B mechanic where it renders your selection to play it back smoothly without jitter? Am I exhausting RAM and it's causing the app to hang perhaps?
If there's anything at all that can help alleviate this, I would definitely like the relief....
