Any sample of AVCHD from Panasonic cameras?

So far I'm editing AVCHD from Sony cameras, no problem.

Have you tried resetting the VP19?

Tried various files, they appear but when clicked on everything freezes. Never had a problem with pro 12. Working on Windows 7, don't know if that should make a difference. Intel i5 4 core 3.3ghz 16 16gb ram. NVIDEA graphics card. Made usual tweeks made to pro12.

YES, also uninstalled, re-downloaded and re-installed. It sees the files but just doesn't want to import them (stops responding) the prompted to send error message to magic and exits programme. Tried capturing new files but still not importing.

No problem bring in AVCHD files from Panasonic HC-1500E. Either via USB connection to camera or by removing SD card from camera and inserting in PC. From memory no problems with GH2 either.

Geoffrey-Garratley. What do you mean by the term import?

Hi, Importing Media into V19Pro- from camera footage file on the hard drive. It imports the Mp4 files off JVC cameras but although it recognises the Panasonic AVCHD files the programme stops responding or freezes up once dble clicked on to import into the project. Then it prompts to send error report to Magix and whether I send it or not the programme then closes down. Everything else seems to be working but as I almost exclusively work on multi-cam projects this renders the programme unusable. Have never experienced any problems with Vegas Pro 12.
