@RogerS, sometimes when satire is written, it doesn't go over too well without seeing the facial expression that goes along with it. As someone who has been involved in beta testing (US Army for 12 years, 3 other commercial products for 10 years), I have an understanding (with at least the companies I've worked with) what goes on.

Beta testers do that, test and break, and report. Sometimes, suggestions are taken into account, but usually the PM and others have a direction they are going in. Can it be frustrating for the testers? Yes, because testers want the product to be the best it could be. Every bug can not be fixed at once. Every bug might not affect every tester. And then how long fix and at what cost, and is it at the top of the list of global issues.

Where I agree with @Hulk is that I have been guilty of doing certain things to avoid problems, using Task Manager to shut down remaining parts of the program, etc. It's subconscious from using the program. And I had to remember and be reminded in testing to not do that.

I think the Vegas team has done a stellar job considering how many people are doing the work. And yes, I would love for Magix to funnel more money to them. Vegas has grown a lot since I've been using it. The team is doing a lot of good since they've taken over from Sony.

I will be closing this thread. It has drifted off topic and beside, the update has now released.
