Vegas Pro 361 Render Dialogue Hang

I've been having this issue a lot since the update...It usually eventually resolves itself after a few tries, but still annoying. Sometimes (like this time) the render dialogue box pops up right after it crashes.

If you have a CPU with Intel graphics, try disabling QSV:

Unfortunately, I'm on an AMD CPU. I'm using an Nvidia 900 series GPU as well, which also doesn't support HEVC hardware encodes, so I'm using software only.

As I said, a few retries usually fixes it, so this isn't a top priority issue by any means, but I'm sure it'll annoy others out there who may just stop using the software vs. seeking out help online, so I figured it needed to be pointed out to Magix anyway.

My hardware setup (going to add that to my sig soon):

Ryzen 1800x

ASUS motherboard (sorry, forgot exact model)

GTX970GPU

64GB DDR4

M.2 NVMe system drive, rest are SATA.

Systems:

Desktop

AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8 core 16 thread at stock speed

64GB 3000mhz DDR4

Geforce RTX 3090

Windows 10

Laptop:

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 32GB (9980HK CPU, RTX 2060 GPU, dual 4K touch screens, main one OLED HDR)

Have you watched disk activity and processes to see what was going on while you were waiting?

This problem is becoming more frequent. It happens now more often than not. I think it might have something to do with the fact that I am using a 1080p monitor as my main system monitor and a 4K screen as my preview output. Vegas doesn't seem to like that, as occasionally when the render dialogue pops up, it will resize itself really small. Perhaps something to do with the windows text zoom? The question above should be answered by this:

Geforce RTX 3090

Windows 10

I was equally curious about which applications were doing disk I/O. It might give a hint to what Vegas is working on or hanging on.
