VEGAS Pro Beginner Tutorials

alifftudm95 wrote on 4/13/2021, 12:11 PM

I started creating & editing this tutorial since September 2020, and only today I manage to completed it and posted on my YouTube channel.

I wanted to cover more parts of the software, but I think this basic tools & techniques I demonstrate in the tutorial is sufficient enough to help beginners to learn execute decent edits with VEGAS Pro software's

I highly appreciate if you guys can give any constructive criticism feedback on my videos/edit.

For the audio, Its pretty obvious the sound is inconsistent through out the video because it was recorded on different day & time, Which affect the overall of my voice tone, mood, loudness & qualities. I'm no expert in Audio so sharing some tips/tricks to improve audio would be great!

Izotope has EQ match in izotope RX that u can use that might help next time

A bit confused with the VST branding/Name.

Izotope is their company name & EQ Match is the VST by Izotope that would help me with my audio edit?

they got many types of bundle/package. Im not a professional audio editor. Looking something around 100$ ?

iZotope's Dialogue Match would likely be good for EQing and matching different instances of dialogue/VO, but it is absurdly and ridiculously expensive at $599.00 USD.

Cameras: Sony FDR-AX100E; GoPro Hero 11 Black Creator Edition

Installed: Vegas Pro 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 & 21, HitFilm Pro 2021.3, DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.5, BCC 2023.5, Mocha Pro 2023, Ignite Pro, NBFX TotalFX 7, Neat NR, DVD Architect 6.0, MAGIX Travel Maps, Sound Forge Pro 16, SpectraLayers Pro 11, iZotope RX10 Advanced and many other iZ plugins, Vegasaur 4.0

Windows 11

Dell Alienware Aurora 11

10th Gen Intel i9 10900KF - 10 cores (20 threads) - 3.7 to 5.3 GHz

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8GB GDDR6 - liquid cooled

64GB RAM - Dual Channel HyperX FURY DDR4 XMP at 3200MHz

C drive: 2TB Samsung 990 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD

D: drive: 4TB Samsung 870 SATA SSD (used for media for editing current projects)

E: drive: 2TB Samsung 870 SATA SSD

F: drive: 6TB WD 7200 rpm Black HDD 3.5"

Dell Ultrasharp 32" 4K Color Calibrated Monitor

@alifftudm95 I sub to your channel. When I got the notice, I started watching with the intent of bookmarking and coming back later. I watched the entire video and bookmarked it also.

There is so much in Vegas, that sometimes, this old, 1 cell brain of mine, needs a refresher. Thanks!

I also sent the video link to another VP user friend in Belgium. He too appreciated it and how it "reminded" him of things he too had "misplaced" in his brain.

Yes correct, The workaround to my problem is render them part by part

I always make subprojects instead of one complete project. It makes a complex project over viewable and the risk of becoming corrupted much less. A final project can easily been made by nesting subprojects or by merging subrenders. But I don't think that I tell you any things that you didn't already know...😉
