Vegas Pro is unable to correctly use OBS files

I film clips using the OBS replay buffer, i never had any problems with it until a while ago. Vegas Pro, both 16 and 22, on old and new devices for me is just unable to cope with OBS files. I record a clip and it works fine when watching it via any windows app or whatever. But when i want to edit it in Vegas, it completely messes up everything, but this is only with replay buffer, not actual recording. The audio starts to desync, footage starts to glitch. I have tried so many different codecs, video formats. Nothing works, and the fact that this has happened accross multiple versions of Vegas and multiple devices is just honestly astounding. Recorded footage from any other software works just fine, its an OBS only issue, so maybe this is not the forum but i might aswell try since it only happends in Vegas, i tried other editors, but they dont glitch (if they even let me import the file)

I linked a video to showcase exactly what is happening

The OBS Capture Settings are Critical to the files opening in Vegas.

There is a FAQ for that . . .

@Scorched Please share your exact OBS settings as many of us use it successfully (in fact it's recommended for captures that work well in VEGAS).

Here's one post (linked to from the one Mark shared): https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-what-obs-studio-settings-work-well-with-vegas-pro--109925/

Avoid fragmented MP4 unless you are remuxing in OBS.

For keyframe interval, 0 is automatic and 1 is 1 second, and having a key frame interval of 1 or 2 seconds will work much better in VEGAS than the default.

I use very simple settings, but i also tried/used tons of different settings but my standard is just "Indistinguishable Quality" in MKV format, QSV, H264 Encoder. I can describe more but it is no longer needed, i reinstalled Vegas Pro for another time and this time it simply works, no clue what changed as i tried this before aswell. But it works now lol

For VEGAS I'd avoid MKV; too many variants don't work well. That said if you find a combination that works well in VEGAS you can use it.
