Vegas Render Freeze

greN1337 wrote on 9/22/2021, 3:38 PM

Hello, so I've been getting this problem since yesterday and I tried literally everything what I could think of.

Problem: Render freezes at the random percentage and nothing then happens. CPU usage from 80 goes to 0. Preview screen goes to black and nothing else happens. I rendered the same project like 2 days ago but with less bitrate and less quality just for the preview.
Interesting thing is that sometimes render continues for some seconds minutes, cpu usage again goes from 0 to 80 and it seems like nothing happened, but unfortunately as I said it goes to the same problem after a while.

What I've tried:
Disabling/Enabling GPU Acceleration
Different render settings/codecs.
Changing Vegas from 16 to 18.
Disabling every single FX
Reinstalling Quicktime.
Making True/False for (so4 compound reader, gpu legacy rendering, multi-core rendering)
Changing RAM and cores to absolute minimum.
Different project settings.
Updating CPU & GPU Drivers.

My Setup:
Nvidia RTX 2060
Intel i7 10750h 2.2ghz
16gb ram ddr4
Windows 10

You should put the following in here:
Screenshot of project settings + render settings,
Screenshot of "Help - Check for driver updates".

What are you editing? 600FPS 8-bit 4:4:4? This is quite a file. Consider transcoding it to something more ordinary before importing into Vegas.

I am rendering a gaming movie. Recording in 600fps then rendering at 30fps. It makes the image look more cinematic. Funny thing that I just reinstalled Sapphire plugin and lowered the bitrate and it worked for once for some reason... But now it happens again
