Is anyone else getting this infuriating bug in V23 when using Veleocity Envelopes.
As you can see in the video, sometimes, I cannot double click on the line to get a new point, I can't right click on the line to add a point, when I eventually get the menu from a right click, the Add point doesn't work. Then I cannot select another point to move, eventually after a few clicks it works, but in this example, it's driving me crazy. I've been getting this a lot recently.
@Craig-Rogers I think the secret here is, when the tooltip appears, choose what to do.
I've just tried and it's never failed, providing I choose the action when the tooltip appears.
It's also better if you expand the track height a bit.
There seems to be a time delay in vp23 between pointing to an envelope point or segment before it actually connects to it. If I don't count to 3 before pressing the mouse button, I end up grabbing the clip instead of the envelope and throwing it out of sync. This new vp23 bug is exacerbated by Vegas' long-standing deficiency that forces me to use the normal edit tool for 4-point segment inserts, which also grabs and moves clips if I miss, instead of the envelope edit tool which lacks that envelope-edit functionality. My only workaround has been to do all my audio mixdowns with vp22 before rendering the mix track for import to vp23.
