Velocity ramp working on MP4s, but not on MTS clips

Changes I make on the velocity line (double clicking to make edit points, then creating ramps on the line, or raising/lowering entire line) have no effect on any MTS clip -- though it works perfectly on MP4s. Any ideas? Thanks.

Vegas Pro version.
What’s in the MTS wrapper.

Post Mediainfo report.

All I can add is that VP19 velocity is working on my Panasonic mts's.

Thank you for your suggestions. I just downloaded the Pro 20 trial -- and the velocity envelope works perfectly on mts files. I than went back to 19, and downloaded and installed the update -- and again it works. My apologies for taking your time -- I could have done that first.
