Video Media Generators Bug Screen

KruuuG wrote on 12/16/2016, 11:34 PM

Hello,

I just purchased Sony Vegas and when trying to use the "Video Media Generator" option the screen is incomplete, I can not resize the screen to get access to all the functions, I already used the option to completely reset Sony Vegas, since I reinstalled the application and, according to the screen below, I can not see the editing screen completely.

Double click the title bar. Window will resize.  Not a bug.

Windows 7?

Which build of Vegas?

This bug was allegedly fixed for the Titles & Text generator in VP14 build 201 (release notes) but if you have that latest build then I guess maybe not for the (Legacy) Text generator.

Here's an old post about this. If you follow through the links in the comments you might find a solution.

There was another report about this a few days ago but can't find it now. Anyone?

So double clicking the title bar doesn't work?    Works for me.  :)

It does. 😀

If that was the issue there would be scrollbars and and "About ?" link in the screenshot above. This is a known bug.

OK, fair enough, but assuming that "double-click" works for the OP like it does for me that should be an acceptable solution.  yes?    I think my screen looked like the OP (no scroll bars)  and that double clicking "reset" it, but I can't seem to recreate the error now.

@kruuug

Please confirm that double-clicking the effects title bar works for you.

@Kinvermark, Double-clicking does not make effect...

I tried to locate the windows registry, about the Fonts, but I did not find them ... I'm using Windows 10 PRO x64 ...

I have solved this problem, I search the respective MS San Serif font on google and have instaled it.

Its fix my problem, thanks for all.

KruuuG, glad it's fixed but which build of Vegas and which version of Windows? If it's VP14 build 201 then the devs need to know it's not fixed.

I have the same problem but every solution found on google hasn't worked for me. The solution where you change SSERIFE.FON to SSERIFER.FON didn't work for me because it didn't say "SSERIFE.FON" in the first place. I want to save the uninstall/reinstall solution until the last resort.
