Video Preview Quality

While editing, I try to set the Video Preview to Full Quality, but it always reverts to Half or sometime even Quarter quality. I haven't changed anything in my Windows 11 setup, ASUS ProArt Studio laptop, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 TI Laptop GPU, two external monitors. Of course, I do keep up with all Windows 11 updates and GeForce Studio Drivers. This only started happening a few months ago. Is one of the Windows updates or GeForce driver updates the cause?

When you right-click on the preview screen, do you by any chance have a check-mark next to "Adjust size and quality for optimal playback"? Another possibility to consider, if your laptop presents itself as having multiple high-res monitors, is to make sure to check the box to "Use alternate high-dpi settings" in display properties.

Thank you Howard-Vigorita! I did have a check-mark next to "Adjust size and quality for optimal playback", so I will try this. Would you be able to tell me where the "Use alternate high-dpi settings" in display properties is? I haven't been able to find this option.

It's near the bottom of the Preferences, Display tab. If your laptop has the extra display panel above the keyboard (my Zenbook does not), you might also need to look at Windows display settings and see how it's being treated.
